“As far as hotels go, this place is doing pretty well. It is one of the few hotels that has a bar and restaurant, even if the offerings are slim. It is nicely located near the mall, so if you need to do some shopping, it is working walking distance. The rooms are nice, I recently stayed in a single King suite. The entrance to the room is separated from the rest of the suite, and acts like an office of sorts. If you need to work from your hotel room, it would make an ideal makeshift cubicle. The bedroom was on the other side of the bathroom, so it was nice and quiet even with the TV in the front room on. The bed is nice and comfortable, and everything was fairly clean. Overall, this hotel is definitely on my "return visit" list.”

“My son went 2 Evergreen for 2nd grade summer school, he told me last night "everything about evergreen was good except the fattening junk food".He said all the cool experiments were very curious,(lol)but the junk food they had for lunch on all the days didnt match with the learning part.We drove across from the center of Bakersfield, all the way out there when we missed the bus, but each day he came home from school telling me about all the new interesting projects they made with their actual little people hands, never a dull or boring day, so it was totally worth it.”
