“I called i5 Roadside Assistance, I got broken down on the side of the road 5 miles away from Pilot truckstop. I spoke with the mechanic and he seemed very knowledgeable and I asked if he can fix the problem, he said yes (I had low coolant and my truck will shut down, I had to pour water in the coolant tank but I didn’t make it to the next truckstop). He came in in one hour and found the problem which was in the radiator and I decided to go ahead and change it and the coolant tank (it was leaking) as well. We moved to a safe spot and the work started. He got parts from Bakersfield Freightliner dealership and changed them in three hours and I was up and running. Very professional, very knowledgeable, save me money for the towing, and I don’t know if the dealership will take me right away for the repair. The price was reasonable. So, it took 4 hours hours from the first phone call until the job was done. The mechanic name is Damien he did an excellent job and thank you so much. I recommend this to everybody.”

“Cute little neighborhood park. Not really for large groups. I think this may be just for local homeowners. I happened upon it while taking someone home. A few grills and picnic tables under shade trees, a small walking/skating track and a decent playground. I did not see a bathroom. There is no where to park except the street itself, so again, it's mainly for neighborhood use. Got my dog out and walked the track anyway.”

“We were greeted the moment we walked in the door. Allysa who was working the register and the Cinnabon and pizza counter was so kinda and enthusiastic!!! The pizza was delicious, highly recommended! Can’t express how great Allysa was, that girl needs a pay raise! The Wendy’s also had great salads that were very fresh! Very nice clean facility. I wish every gas station was like this”

Hit this place up a bunch of times while we are at rivernook Campground for our beer and supplies. Also picked up our fishing licenses! Staff was extremely cool and courteous! Gas was a little pricey but that's to be expected because you're on a mountain.”
