Cesar Chavez National Monument was wonderful, informative, and educational! The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! She showed my boys how to complete the Junior Park Ranger packet activity so that they could be Junior Rangers. The gift shop was a perfect place to get a few items, including: books, mugs, shirts, etc. I highly recommend making this stop...such a beautiful and well maintained historical site with a peaceful garden and fountain!
Very clean, organized and easily accessible. I learned a lot! Beautiful outdoor area too. Everything is written in both English and Spanish. There's even a souvenir shop!
Amazing place, extremely historical and accurately depicted. We kept telling our kids that they will read about Cesar Chavez in school, they where amazed at the replica room and huge pictures. It's extraordinary what he went through and what he was willing to sacrifice for the benefit of others. Every building on the site had a significance to his story, struggles and victories.
Strongly recommend it. His and his wife's Graves where actually on site as well, haven't seen that since Richard Nixons library.
Very interesting and excellent place to visit with the family.
A beautiful and serene place. Great for hiking and just spending some quiet time.
This place is a gorgeous tribute to Cesar E. Chávezs' legacy. You can feel the history. I would certainly visit again. If you decide to visit pack a lunch and take the kids. They have a nice little playground. It was cool to watch the trains circle the property from so close by. I was able to stand safely about 6ft away watching them travel. That was awesome!
This is a nice stop to get out and stretch your legs and take in some of the scenery. There is a small area indoors to tour as well as the garden with fountain and some other hidden gems. Great memorial for Cezar Chavez with education for the family. Very happy we stopped in.
