  There is EV charging here! Definitely a life saver if you need to charge! There are two chargers at the front of the office, which you can use for $1. Thank you USFS!

  They are there on the weekends despite the hours on here. The female ranger that answered the phone was extremely friendly and extremely helpful! We need more people like her in this world! Unfortunately the road I need to take up is closed, however she directed me with a route around it. Thank you so much.

  Came in when my friend and I arrived in Kernville Tuesday to stay and hike. Veronica MADE my birthday holiday. The recommendations of 100 Giants, Johnsondale Bridge hike, Packsaddle Cave hike, and a drive to Big Meadow(we spend the day exploring and setting up our chairs, having lunch, and reading). Awesome time. Great Map. Make sure you download all areas, trails, etc before heading out of cell range.

  EV charging!!! This is a state park ranger station. The office has all of the info you will need to navigate about the Sequoia forests. I came to this place because of the EV charging. I was surprised and relieved that there were two available EV chargers. You are only ask to kindly donate a $1 fee. I donated $2. There is no limit and you are free to plug in. This was a life saver because there is no other EV charger for about 35+ miles in that area. Prompts to the State Ranger for having this available for EV car owners. 😊. Thank you 🙏!

  We stopped by the Kernville Ranger Station before we drove north through the Sequoia National Forest. The ranger was very helpful and pleasant. She helped us amend our original route to include several destinations we had never heard of, including a park that ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. We left with two different maps, and a lot of information that significantly improved our experience.
