(July 16, 2022, 7:47 pm)We were visiting family in Shafter Ca and being from South Texas (30 minutes from Matamoros Mexico) we look for homemade and authentic tastes. Our first visit here was above grade in flavor. We enjoyed the tacos de asada and tacos de carne adobada ( basically Al pastor) with their salsa roja and delicious from beginning to end.

I ordered the two carnitas tacos plate, comes with rice and beans. They are not shy about stuffing your tacos with meat. Carnitas was fresh and very tasty. Rice and beans were also very good.
You have to get your food to go. They have several tables outside that you can sit and eat.
We will be back!
