(March 8, 2019, 11:27 am)The wings are awesome and don't forget to try their soups. Tomato Bisque is great. Salads are also worth the money. Steaks are enticing.
(February 24, 2019, 10:05 pm)We happened to be passing through Tehachapi, and decided we'd go off the beaten path back into Stallion Springs for a bite to eat. We happened to stop in just as the locals were getting off of work, and got to experience probably one of the coolest dining atmospheres I'd ever seen.
The waitresses knew most everyone that came in, with one of the waitresses being ready with "the usual" for some of the regulars. You know, the kind of friendly, personable behavior you only ever see on TV. The staff treated us warmly, gave some good meal recommendations, and were very prompt with their service.
The Swiss Mushroom burger, suggested by Tessa, was probably the best I'd had, and wasn't super expensive, either! They offer a pretty decent range of "typical bar food," and even though they have a smaller selection than some places, they really know how to make the most of it.
Ended up finding a hidden gem that I'm sure we'll make a habit of visiting if we pass through again. ????
(January 14, 2019, 9:17 am)Nice cozy place! The food is always fantastic, you haven't lived until you've tried the stinky Mac. They have a full bar and they make the most delicious desserts. Never had a better piece or carrot cake! Staff is friendly and welcoming. We make the hour drive quite often, just love P-dubs!
