“I was in the area and decided to come in for lunch at taco place. The restaurant is located inside of the Chevron gas station convenience store. They have about six tables you can sit down and eat, however for reasons unknown they aren’t allowing you to eat indoors currently. I ordered two Carne asada tacos with rice and beans, it was approximately $6.50. Wow, it was very good, fresh and tasty. I will definitely come back here again.”

“Open, with efficient friendly and fast service, we went inside and ordered fresh brewed coffee and a food item. Fresh coffee was a special surprise. Because the "fresh brewed coffee" hasnt been fresh at most cafes since the shutdown and restart. Clean Cafe inside and out, and the restroom. We visited in the morning around 830am, last Saturday. after spending the night to the street and heading out to out destination of Pismo Beach and San Luis Obisbo. Kudos to staff here. Good job.”

“Was here to charge up, decided to pop by Tacos El Monkey for a quick bite. I got 3 different tacos. The Asada was amazing, the Lengua was so fork tender I didn't need to chew it, and the best for me was the Pastor. Everything was so flavourful. I even had a bite of my friends quesadilla, and it was so crisp and brimming with chewy stretchy cheese. And the burritos are very hefty and tasty! Thanks!”

“I had never been that far over on the east side to eat and I was really happy with the Malt Shop. The onion rings are truly delicious and so are the zucchini fries. (Make sure you get each to dip them in; they have quality ranch.) I usually order a fish sandwich, which is extremely delicious and hits the spot when your in this comfort food mood for food. My boyfriend got the hamburger and all enjoyed it. I don’t usually like fries but I do really like the fries here. I would like even more seasoning on them because I’m a salt fiend but you have got to try dipping them in ranch and ketchup and eating them. I was happy and satisfied by my meal and ready for a nap.”

“Excellent & Delicious!! Came here and got dinner to go two nights in a row. First night I ordered the large salad with lots of veggies, bacon and pesto chicken for $16. It was a huge portion. I’m a big eater and could t finish it all. But it was one of the best salads I’ve ever had. Second night (pictured) I got the small salad with Lots or veggies, bacon, egg and shrimp fkr $19. It was still a huge salad and absolutely delicious. Pro tip - get the croutons or anything crunchy added on top after mixing in the dressing otherwise it will be soggy. The service was very quick and friendly. I can’t wait to come back again!”

“Lorene’s has been here for some time. In the past I have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here. It has always been pretty good food. Currently they only are open for Breakfast and Lunch. I ordered the breakfast sampler plate. Comes with bacon 🥓, hot link, eggs any style, hash browns and French toast. It was really good, couldn’t eat it all. The only thing disappointing was the French toast wasn’t very warm, nevertheless, I ate it. Kathy, my waitress did a wonderful job, she was a pleasure.”

“The employees are great, but this Starbucks is unfortunate in that the parking lot entries and exits to the roads are difficult. Both of the roadways are one-way exits which require u turns. In addition, one of the entryways is narrow and not really two-cars wide, so people often drive in the dirt on one side. However, it’s incredibly nice to have a spot to grab coffee in that area.”

“Looked the place up on Google and liked what their menu offered. Went in cashier was nice and recommended some foods. We checked out the menu and ordered some food.. Mine was called "Killer Pastrami Combo" It was delicious . My Pastrami sandwich combo was bomb. Frys and Sweet Tea was the finishing touch. My daughter ordered the Pastrami Burger Combo. She said it was yummy and she ordered a side of Fried Pickles that looked like regular French fries and some Chili Beans...She said they were spicy but good. My hubby ordered some kind of Salad . Not sure what kind but he said it tasted really good. And he ordered a side bowl of Chili Beans & Cornbread. Both were spicy, but he ate them. He usually doesn't eat spicy stuff. (JUST A WARNING ABOUT CORNBREAD AND CHILI BEANS) But he said they were good . They had a dessert case right in front with Cheese Cake, Cakes and Cookies. Of course we ordered about 3 Desserts before heading back home. Place was big and nicely decorated and quiet. People were friendly. If we come back to town will be sure to check them out again. It's clean, bathrooms are clean and warm inside even though it's snowy outside. Now for the food and service. Try to avoid the ones that look like it's been sitting out for a while. Chester's has a fantastic side order option.... I like the fried okra (when it's not soggy, lol). The workers are always nice & friendly, even when we first arrived, and that was a rare occurrence back then.”
