5 stars because of the owners. The park is pretty basic, um, make that 100% basic, no frills, no pool, no kiddie park, nada. But it is a safe spot off the highway. Can't remember what Doyle's claim to fame is, turtle race, or lizard race? Some such. No matter, the food in town is pure D awful, but strong drinks at the Buck Inn. Even picked up a young woman out hitchhiking on my way back from the bar one night. Forgot to ask where she had come from or where bound. Took her back to the RV where she spent the night with me. Left for work in the morning and when I got back she was gone. Made the bed and did my dishes that had been piling up. Now I feel bad I can't even think of her name.
