(July 20, 2023, 10:48 am)My 12yo grand daughter and I had the best experience with our guides and instructors Mark and Rane! For me this was a mini refresher course but for my water loving grand daughter who has been ‘free’ diving since I taught her when she was three years old, the Catalina SCUBA Dive Experience was epic! She now wants to become certified while we are here on the island! Rane and Mark were excellent instructors out of the water, and patient with us while we practiced our skills in the water. Thx guys!
(July 16, 2023, 3:14 pm)This was an awesome experience! Kylie, our guide, truly loved the ocean and wanted to share that love and excitement with us. She made the comment that she loves “giving people a ‘drivers license’ to allow them to explore the ocean.” So much fun. The snorkeling wasn’t incredibly tropical like my first thought is when I think snorkeling, but there were SO MANY fish and cool things to see none the less! Price was really good for the quality of the experience and we would do it again.
(July 8, 2023, 3:24 pm)We rented great snorkeling gear for 24 hrs at a reasonable price. The gal who checked us out had personal knowledge of where to go. Sam, from Nee Zealand, gave us the gear and was able to get the right sizes by just looking at us. He was so fun especially with the kids.
(June 1, 2023, 7:23 pm)Went on a boat dive: The boat was very spacious, clean, and nice. Captain and crew were friendly, helpful, and patient. They even had music set up underwater to listen to during the dive, that was really cool. Best dive boat sandwich I've ever had, my standards are at a new high.
(May 10, 2023, 6:35 pm)Awesome experience! First-time diver, and my instructor Rane (like the weather rain) was absolutely great 👍. He was very knowledgeable about diving, gave clear instructions, and was patient with me. The gear was really heavy though when carrying it to the dive point, felt like I was carrying an extra 50 lbs but when in the water you're weightless so you don't feel it. I saw large schools of fish 🐟 and swam through kelp forests. It is truly another world down below. Absolutely amazing! I recommend it, if ever thought about doing it.
