  Parsons Landing is a crazy pretty place to camp. There's pretty much nothing here - just fox boxes, clean pit toilets and fire pits. You can pay to have water and firewood delivered to your site which you should do. Previous campers have made wind shelters out of rocks at every campsite for your fire or to pitch your tent behind. If there's an earthquake you're probably gonna suffer a brain injury but what can you do?

  Pretty Lit nice sand, beautiful sky at night but diarrhea beef stew.

  Stayed here in October, we were one of two parties staying there. Weekenders had left extra water and firewood, but on the downside they had also left it trashy. For some reason only one outhouse was open and it was pretty bad. I think a swarm of flies lived down the hole waiting to accost desperate humans. Other than that, it was beautiful, quiet, remote. We stayed at campsite six which was quite large and felt adequately distant from our neighbors at campsite 7. Space six was probably large enough for at least four tents. Space eight seemed really small, Rocky, and claustrophobic

  Did the 21 mile loop of the North West end of Catalina island. Parsons Landing is the only place you can get water, other than Two Harbors, if you are going that route. You must remember to buy a locker key for $20 in Two Harbors that has 2-1/2 gallons of water, wood and fire starter. It is a nice protected beach site with camping.

  Quiet place but can be busy during the day because of visitors from nearby boy/girl scout camp. Facilities are acceptable. Porta potty are...you know. While we were there pit toilets were under construction and should be available by summertime. Food storage locker is provided at each campsite and much needed. We had a good time and will be back.
