“Came here on a Saturday for a morning snow hike. Right now this area was covered with snow. But you don't need chains to get up to it. The roads are all cleared. They have a campground where you can park and several different trails start here. It's got plenty of restrooms and camp sites and picnic tables. Nice area to bring your kids or pets and just let them play on the snow and have fun.”

“I would camp here. It’s at the end of the road unless you are hiking. Small campgrounds with pit toilets and shaded camping sites for tents and trailers.”

“The divide is home to a large paved parking area, a single bench under nearby trees, an information sign post (not frequently updated) and a restroom facility. This area has no water (unless cached by Trail Angels) and no cell phone service (unless high up on the mountains). It is a starting point for several nearby trails. A Forest Adventure Pass is required to park here. Weekend activities are high and parking can fill up early.”

“It's nice year around. People need to be cleaner in the bathroom. But fun place to go for a picnic, birthday party, lunch then go across the street to play in the water. Or camp out across the street. Just make sure you get your adventures pass before you go up. $5 a day or $30 a year plus $5 for a second car year pass that's a great ideal. Just remember there's no cell service in this area. You can only use charcoal in the picnic area only during non high fire season check/call the ranger before going up. Propane can be used out side of the picnic area. Fire pass are needed.”

“Great family park. There is a water pad, playground, baseball diamond and exercise area. There are covered picnic tables. They have a rec center with sports sign ups. This is a great place to sign up if your little ones aren't yet into big organized sports or are just trying their hand at a new sport. The Easter egg hunt is fun. My kids enjoy the free summer lunches and movie nights. What I like most is that the playground always has other kids for my children to play with. Most of the families frequent often enough that you can become familiar with them. It's a welcoming fun place to be.”

“We just got in from a hike to the Wilderness sign. Plenty of parking on a Saturday evening. They say its 3 miles but it feels longer. Lots of switch-backs and a narrow path. Make up is loose gravel, dirt and rocks. Uphill for the majority of the climb but has some downhill to give U a break. Great scenic rock spots to sit and take in the view. Of course the shady spots coincide with the time of day. (a bench or 2 at the top would be nice) Theres a few trails branching from the top if youre feeling especially adventurous! My Bro was able to reach a distant rock peeking outta the trees. I wasnt wearing proper footwear for the incline. Without proper gear the clearing a should be your safe limit to climb. Came back down the same side. East. Its a pretty fast pace you can pick up so mind your momentum. We descended at nite with flashlights which was super fun..”

“At the end of this hike I was relaxing at the bottom of the falls , and when I looked up I saw a bear looking at me. It was on the ridge on the left of the falls about 30 feet up. It was trying to find a way down so I took off! No point in me waiting for it”
