“Little taste of home for me. I've never mastered making tamales so I come here to get my fix. During holidays heads up, order ahead as they usually sell out. They are open all year and have a small menu to order from besides tamales. Worth the trip!!”

“I had been looking for someone to do my facials, preferably on Mondays, since this is my day off. So Monday I began I making phone calls around my area, and had the pleasure of speaking with Summer. The facility where she worked is closed on Mondays, however, she stated she also works from home and would be able to see me, if I was interested. Since she has great reviews I decided to give it a try, and I could not be happier. She is very professional, and makes you feel so comfortable. She is knowledgeable and explains in detail the entire facial treatment she uses on your face. My face looked and felt wonderful after the facial, and still today…. I found my skin care specialist! And will be coming to her every month. Thank you Summer!!!”

“I'm not sure if you have ever visited any Sprouts Farmers Market? I have been to plenty of them. They range from the deli and bakery with a soda fountain with wonderful flavors of kombucha that you could purchase in a 16 oz or a liter that is refillable. That is served by the clerks. To just a market with just limited items. There are a few things that are important to me (now this is just my own preference) communication, I know, I know not everyone wants to talk to me but sometimes I have questions. Well this sprouts is a smaller market but had a nice variety of fresh, frozen items that were needed. I was greeted and welcomed as I walked over to the produce area. The clerk at the checkout was amazing, I will be back.”

“A good location Starbucks. I almost always come here when I'm grabbing the necessities @ Whole Foods. This place however, can take a while making your order. Best way would be to order ahead of time, thru the App. I like the inside, as it's a good place to do some reading and/or do some work. It's spacious and has a good atmosphere with the right amount of lighting.”

“Great wine. Great food. Very friendly staff and owner. Exactly what you want to see in Claremont. The patio in the back was quite wind friendly. We escaped the onshore flow cold wind in their backyard patio. Cozy! Wine! Olives! Cozy!”

“Dr. Seth's extensive and credentialed background in classical guitar, jazz guitar, musicology, and session and live playing, gives him a uniquely effective approach to teaching guitar, that connects practical exercises and techniques to music theory. I, like doubtless many hobbyists, have played guitar off and on, self-taught, for many years, and on the odd occasion that I would commit to long hours of self-guided practice, I would experience some degree of improvement on my own. But without any guidance, I was also developing sloppy and unproductive playing habits, and I wasn't developing a sense of musical literacy, which is important to me, since I want to be able to write my own music. It hasn't been until my lessons with Dr. Seth that I've made the kinds of meaningful strides that I had been looking for all this time. Dr. Seth takes into account my past experience, my musical interests, and my personal goals, and by connecting the instrument to the theory, I have improved in both playing and musicianship. He's the real deal; there are no shortcuts, and the results I get between lessons are a direct result of practice, but now, I have excellent guidance.”

“BIG PROPS to John at Stoutboy in Claremont. This piece was in trouble. Canvas exposed to the elements and was warping from a bad mounting job. John gave it a new backing, glassed it to flatten it out and affixed it with a beaded black frame that really made the image pop. Super happy, and I highly recommend.”

“From the perspective of my 80/90 internal kid... This places is awesome. Going down the stairs it felt like going back in time to a time where I spend hours playing some of my favorite games or until my mom send my sister to get me before I spent the groceries money on another try, lol... I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area. There is a old school Nintendo with my name on it. Maybe even read Ready Player One to get in the mood... One thing I would of love to see more next time is old classic movies (80/90 classics maybe even in DHS) and books/comics, just a suggestion. Overall a GREAT blast from the past and a new connection for newer generations. Continue? 10,9,8...”

“I had such an amazing experience with Jax Bicycle Center due to the exemplary customer service I received from the manager Octavio (OC). He was extremely professional as well as the staff. My partner brought in her cruiser bike and it was beat up pretty badly, and they transformed her bike into nearly a new bicycle. Initially, the bike was restored with many new parts and looked for the most part new. The only thing that I was not satisfied with was the rust on the front tire. I took it back to Jax Bicycle Center and explained the issue to the manager Octavio and he replaced the front wheel free of charge due to my dissatisfaction. Due to his above and beyond customer service I will always refer people to his bike shop. Thank you so much again for making my partner happy with repairing her bike! You have no idea how happy we both are that we can finally ride bikes together!”

“Executive exceeded all expectations. I was a bit worried because their quote was much lower than other companies. However, the day of the move came and everything went very smoothly. All our breakables were packed perfectly and arrived with no damage. We had packed everything else and so the loading went quickly. I highly recommend packing as much as you can yourself if you are trying to save money. They were pleasant and professional and UNDER BUDGET! I ended up paying $700 less than the price I was quoted.”

“The short: High end kitchen wares with a dash of vintage and sprinkle of good customer service. Tasty! The long: Kitchen shop is great description of this store. It is kitchen stuff minus the appliances. It's the pretty and cute things that make my wife happy. It is also the useful gadgets that make me more productive in kitchen. I do our daily cooking and I handle it like a short order cook. Cranking out food for my family is my happy place. The customer service is amazing, they are genuinely nice people who love what they do. Recently I attended the holiday appreciation celebration (one of the many reasons to sign the email list). It was a lot of fun. They even hid gift coupons around the store! The verdict: I have listed many reasons to visit this shop. But, if you and your spouse dont cook or you dont have a kitchen or maybe you hate cute things. Then this isn't for you. However, I can guarantee that there are other people in your life that would enjoy a gift from here. Or maybe they live under the same bridge you do.”

“The Folk Music Center is a classic Claremont institution that was started by the Chase family and continued by their children and grandchildren. The most famous grandchild is the Grammy winning musician Ben Harper. However his mother and his brother are artists in their own right. If you watch my video in photos, it shows a long line of people standing in 95° weather to have their shot at open mic night on the little stage under scores of world instruments that are carefully displayed like a museum.”

“On Friday the 13th I went into DeeLux to sell some items. It was the best experience I've had there. First the store was very clean and organized. The employee that bought my items greeted me as soon as I walked through the door. She also greeted everyone as they came in, which I thought was great. No one did that before. The gentleman at the register was just as good. Pleasant to talk too, polite and had good eye contact. Both of them went the extra mile. The store had different new items and it wasn't so cluttered up around the front door. Big improvement! It really was a great visit.”

“It's good for what it is- a place to grab a quick drink or lunch. They always have good and healthy to-go options: sushi, salads, sandwiches. The staff are usually in the back, but they'll see you quickly enough and come out to serve you. Service is usually pretty quick and easy.”
