Hotel Huntington

This was a great place to stay for the 2 days we were here for Universal Studios. So clean and well put together. Absolutely no complaints at all. Do not stay at any other place in the area and save money by staying here. Universal Studios was only 45 min away.

Wish I would have got the guys name but the gentleman working the Night Shift on the 11th of July was amazing! Super nice and even let us get into the pool for an hour or so even though it was closed. Rooms are very clean and nice homey feeling. It was pretty quiet and even when there were distracting patrons with loud music the staff was quick to get them to be quiet. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.

We booked this hotel because it had good ratings in multiple places

First the location. It was very close to Santa Fe dam where we needed to be. So very convenient. It was a bit difficult to find because it is offset from the street by 100yds. That has a bonus of being extra quiet but can be hard to find. The area was a tiny bit in the sketchy side but bordered monrovia which was a much nicer City. It’s Duarte is definitely gentrifying. Location 4stars

The room itself was completely newly remodeled. Very nice very botique. Sheets were clean, room was clean, bathroom clean. Only negative was very little storage. We had to “live” out of our luggage. Only a tiny 2feet open hanging rack, barely fit for one of us our things . We were three(1king+1queen bed). No desk to work from. I had to go down and sit in lobby to work. It was very good there (except for last evening the female older Asian clerk was very unfriendly). Also one other negative the new rug was off gassing chemicals gave my don and I headache. We had windows opened entire time and doors wide open all the time except when asleep.

The service was good (except the one woman).

It was very good value for the cost.

A fridge and microwave and coffee maker was there.

I enjoyed this hotel. Everything was in excellent working condition and the sheets were clean. The filter screen on the AC unit was decently clean. The front staff were friendly and there was always ample space for parking. I didn't incur any unexpected fees and payment went smoothly. I'd definitely stay here again.

We got into town a little early. I stopped into the hotel at 10 a.m. to see when we could check in. I wish I would have gotten the name of the man working at the front desk because he was so kind and accommodating. I returned at 12:30 p.m. and he was able to get me into our room. I was so grateful! The room was clean and updated. Shower had good water pressure and the bed was comfortable. The large TV was a bonus! I would have liked to use the pool but it was chilly the day we were there. I think my boyfriend got tired of me saying how cute this hotel was. Lol it's tucked in a little ways off the main street but is close to shopping and tons of restaurants. I really couldn't believe I found a place in a nice location with updated rooms at such a low price! It is a family-owned hotel which is exactly what I was looking for. I would definitely stay here again!
