“Been coming to this park for over 20 years. Great neighborhood park. Limited picnic tables, a playground, and restrooms. Also has a large field to play catch or kick a soccer ball around. Had my daughter's first birthday party there. We had planned to go to another park down the street but someone beat us to it. So we went up to country wood park and the party ended up turning out great. Even all the photos were great with 360 degree views at this park. I highly recommend this great park in our community.”

“Nice park with all the quirks. Urban foragers pick dandelion leaves. The guys that maintain the landscaping says that they don't use herbicides, but they do use insecticides for ants, and poison around tree trunks to control gophers. Also, the water is reclaimed non-potable water, make sure you cook your vegetables before you consume them. For toddlers and infants, make sure you stay within arms reach of them. Dog owners often leash their dogs, the "drop" the leash so that they can run around on their own. Others train their dogs to fetch since there is no oversight. “What a great place to spend the day. The police are very active in the area so it's a great place for family time. They have two BBQ pits and some water to play with, a basketball court and a playground area.”

“There is a trail starting at Leucadia Rd that leads to Schabarum Park. Come on a clear day after the rain for views from LA downtown, over Mount Baldy, to Catalina Island and the ships in between. Come for the sunset and enjoy city lights too. The only thing annoying is the abundance of power poles.”

“I really liked this trail. Yeah, there are some dog droppings but you just deal with them accordingly. I liked the Puma trail because it has plenty of shade. Coyote trail is a good leg warmer.”
