(September 12, 2020, 12:58 am)One great bargain my wife and I found here was those little "booties" AKA "shoe coverings" that people use to keep from tracking dirt through a house. They have a box of them that contains twelve--count 'em--12 pairs(!) of shoe covers for one dollar! The shoe covers are thin plastic, with an elastic that goes around the opening, and are stretch fit over each shoe. They are ugly as @$#% but they perform the desired function, which is all you really want. It says "One size fits most" on the box. Well, at $1.00 for 24 items, I was dubious. I tried one on my men's 10-1/2 Wide shoe, and--dad gum if it didn't fit! Yes, one size really does fit most! Knowing we might not see these next time we came in the store, we purchased 3 boxes (72 total "booties") for $3.00. We'll use these for a long time, keeping the floor in our apartment clean. Two thumbs way up!!
