  Covered with snow, great play place. Not supposed to park on the street, but many people did. Too much trash left behind by thoughtless people. Packed out a grocery bag of other peoples' trash and debris. But our kids loved it.

  Seen a ???? and had to run up a hill to get away. That was cool. Great peaceful place.

  Nice little campground that isn't too far away from the greater Los Angeles area. This can be good or bad, depending on what you're looking for.
  
  If you want to get totally away from the city, I would suggest another campsite. You could see city lights (not sure which city to be honest) very clearly at night.
  
  Our campsite (#84) was quite large for a single, which was very nice. Unfortunately, there wasn't any flat spots, which made sleeping a little difficult.
  
  There are some trails that you can hike with decent views.
  
  Overall, I would recommend checking it out to a friend.

  Beautiful campground but it does make a big difference which site you pick. Some don't have grills, some are a long way from the pit toilets and some are too close.
  
  We stayed two nights in July and the temperature was perfect. Cool at night and pleasant shade during the day. No fire restrictions when we were there but check before you go so you're not disappointed.
