“I have been working with Shana founder of mini yogis yoga for kids ever since I took her training in 2013. The training taught me how to teach kids yoga in a way that was not only fun for the kids but educational at the same time. Since I had 2 young ones at home, I wanted to learn how to teach kids and bring this offering to my studio. Her method of teaching kids is different than any other kids teacher I have run across. Most kids yoga teachers practice yoga asanas for about 30m and perform a craft or game for the remainder of class. Shana teaches you how to tell a story where you weave in postures throughout the story and teach kids yoga and mindfulness the entire class! Kids leave feeling happy, grounded and empowered in their practice. I highly recommend her trainings to everyone!”

“I completed a two week intensive YTT with Shana this past July and was challenged in all aspects of mind, body and spirit. If you are looking for a teacher training that will transform your yoga practice both on and off the mat Shana’s program is definitely one to consider. Quick background on me: I am a Christian, a wife, a mother of 3 and a self-taught yogi. I stumbled upon yoga 7 years ago and fell in love with the practice. Finally, I decided I was ready to deepen my own practice and found Shana. I found her on youtube when searching for crazy yoga poses, and then connected with her on Instagram and have not stopped liking her since. Her program is enriching, fundamental, and foundational. Even if you’ve practiced for a while you will find even more grounding and will experience some “ooh yeah,” light bulb, awakening, revelatory moments. I am truly thankful to be able to call her teacher and have her insightful guidance for all the years to come. Yoga is about the mind transformation and her training delivers. I went in with only the thought of deepening my own practice but discovered that it was my way of self-preservation. I have fears, limitations and lack of confidence in self because of past child hood traumas so I never saw myself as one to teach others. Under Shana’s training and faith in God, I experienced a cataclysmic transformation of my mind that enriched my soul. To have perspective, it takes a shift in the mind, a gained control of insight and gratitude in all things whether its perceived happiness or pain – all guided through faith. I’m truly thankful for the intense 14 days of training and being able to connect with Shana as a teacher along with all the beautiful yogis that were there – they are precious to me. I learned to calm my nerves through practical meditation, knowing that I’m loved and everything that I am is enough. I love every aspect of the program. Her teaching is methodical. I would say that my own base personal practice is good, but Shana’s training only helped to further refine it. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for a fundamentally enriching experience. Namaste”

I originally booked one lesson but after 5 minutes I knew I wanted to book as many lessons as I could in the short time I was in LA. Kacper listened and acknowledged what I was trying to achieve and he brilliantly guided me through our drills so I could achieve my goals.
