“Small and quiet. This library has a small free parking lot with a guard out front. The librarians are nice too! Unfortunately they don't seem to have enough room compared to other libraries which causes most of their used books section to be kept hidden behind closed doors. Service is great! The ambiance is quiet.”

“I used to get my hair cut by Louie often a few years ago. In July 2020, I started growing my hair and haven't really had a cut in 2.5 yrs. It was time for it to go. And I only trusted him to do it. He definitely knows what he is doing with over 10 years of experience. Thanks Barber Louie 🙏”

“The great thing about Ryokan is learning from professors who are clinicians themselves. Also, degree programs at Ryokan are in many ways superior to other online programs, as required live online lectures are interactional between students and professors. Ryokan is approved by the CA Board of Psychology, and students may sit for licensing exams.”

“Beautiful little business with a variety of high-quality necklaces and bracelets (real gold and silver). Fair prices and more important than that very good and caring customer service. I felt welcome and taken care of. I am looking forward to coming back. 10 out of 10 would recommend.”

“Great teachers and a flexible schedule. I found the classes engaging and interesting. Very often they were hilarious as much as they were insightful. It also gave me a space to explore some of my own thoughts and my own past. Would recommend.”

“Aleks is a special human. Whatever force of nature brought her into my life, must have known she was exactly what I needed for my first pregnancy. She created a space where I felt safe to bring anything to the table. She made me feel confident in completely uncharted waters. She saw past the surface and innately knew what I needed to hear. It’s difficult to put into words how important her presence was at my birth. I truly feel lucky to know her.”

“They run a really good sober living program here. Several of our past residential treatment clients have transitioned to Herbert House and all of had nothing but wonderful things to report back. The one thing that really stands out as being unique is the fact that they actually offer an upscale sober living experience in West LA for literally half the cost of others in the area. That traditionally shows a high level of integrity within the recovery world.”

“Recently our friend was a patient at Country Villa Mar Vista for 4 days following a hospitalization. My wife, a retired RN, and myself found this place to be very acceptable. The facility was very clean and odorless and modern and well appointed and has a beautiful patio . Our friend said that the food was very good with choices. It is located in a very nice residential area of Mar Vista. The staff was very friendly, competent and caring. They were very attentive to our friend's needs. We would highly recommend Country Villa Mar Vista. We both agree that we would be willing to be a patient there if need be.”

“Had a last minute embroidery request for my grad school graduation at the busiest time of the year- Christmas, but Tony graciously came through and made it happen to surprise my son with a special gratitude stole on the day of my graduation! Thank you so much to Tony and Ink & Stitch, a local hidden gem! I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Fantastic experience every time! Let me start off by saying that I've always despised needles. I cry every time I have to get a shot or have blood drawn at the doctor. It's really embarrassing! Well, Laura exposed me to a whole new world of loving needles. They make everything better, from back pain, to anxiety, to hormonal problems. You name it and acupuncture can probably treat it. Laura is an extremely good listener and has a fascinating way of understanding and explaining what your body is trying to tell you. Why take meds and live with uncomfortable side-effects when you can just address the root problem? It's kind of a no-brainer for me now that I've tried this. Seriously, get acupuncture from Laura. You won't regret it. Oh yeah, and it doesn't hurt at all. It's actually quite the opposite. You can relax, unwind and let your body balance out. Those needles are like magic.”
