El Royale Hotel Near Universal Studios Hollywood

Best boutique hotel I've ever stayed at! So very clean, quiet and safe. Location is just 7 minutes from Universal studios. Parking is free in it's own covered garage next to my bungalow (fit a suburban), with the gate closing at midnight for security. Service was exceptional by all staff involved. Will be my go to the next time in the area. Muffins and oatmeal for breakfast every morning. Tea, Coffee and hot chocolate are available as well. Walking distance to many restaurants and convenience stores.

We have stayed at El Royale before (4 years ago) and weren't able to get a room last year, so we were delighted to be able to get one this year. We love this place. The rooms are great, with big, comfy beds. There's a nice walk-in shower in the bathroom and a microwave and fridge are also provided. The rooms are spotless and were serviced every day, with plentiful toiletries and towels provided. Coffee, tea, muffins and oats were also available in the lobby at breakfast. The staff are really helpful, warm and friendly and the owner was delightful. The layout is perfect (a little like a 50's motel) and you park your car right outside your room. The building is well cared for and it's clear that everyone there takes a pride in El Royale. The location is perfect - very close to Universal (if that's what you want), but also only about a 15 minute drive to Hollywood. Would highly recommend El Royale and we'd definitely stay again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel hosted by Xavier, and it was truly a delightful experience. Xavier exemplified excellence as a host, radiating elegance and, above all, humility throughout our stay. The rooms were fantastic, with an amazing bed ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. The cleanliness of the establishment was impeccable, contributing to an overall enjoyable stay. Although we initially expected to be in the regular royale lot, we were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves in the Royale Garden, located right next door. Thanks to Xavier's hospitality and the exceptional accommodations, our experience was nothing short of wonderful. Highly recommended.

The rooms were clean and the stay was pleasant. The employee we encountered was very nice (Xavier, I think?). I agree with other reviews that the property did seem sort of creepy but not really sure why lol. Enjoyed our stay though.
