“Enjoyable sunset views and overlooking the beach! Love this place! Take the trails around and up for different views. I had a great experience at the cliffs. Just be careful and don’t fall. There are only few parking spaces here. You can park along Dume Dr (1/2 mile from Point Dume, about 10-minute walk) It’s a pretty quick stop! Parking is a little tricky because it’s located near a neighborhood but must have people just go take quick pick and leave so you could wait for parking! Otherwise, very pretty sight!”

“Beautiful ocean view. The trail is very short but the stairs made it a great workout. Parking lot has only few spaces and it's for two hours. Early morning was the best, no crowds and it was very quiet.”

“An Official Hiking Review: This trail offers a beautiful view and ample parking. The trailhead is located in a residential area, so make sure to be respectful of the surrounding residents. Fabulous trail and would recommend.”

“It's shaded and a leisurely path. Lots of plants and wildlife if that's what you're after. But the 8 dollars parking fee feels steep as there is no way to really spend an entire day here! I parked on the PCH, unaware there even was a parking structure and then realizing it was full but I wonder what would the authorities day if I did the same on a day the parking lot is not full.”

“I love that there's so much to do for free in the Los Angeles area that you would never dream is actually here. My companion has been hiking in this area many many times and felt that I would be able to do this hike even just recovering from knee surgery. He was right. We walked up to the ruins of a house that had been built higher up on the hills and we spend a lot of time poking around and imagining what that house would have looked like in its Glory Days the walk is easy, much of it is still asphalt although it's been damaged in many places and is not strictly flat. There were some areas that he knew were very Steep and probably wouldn't have been good for my knee and we took alternate routes because many were available. We cross some very shallow creeks with dry rocks in them that we could easily navigate without slipping into the water. This was a very clean hiking area. I saw absolutely no trash lying around to make the scenery any less beautiful. I'm sure there's a lot of fauna in the area but we didn't see any ourselves on this trip. I can say for sure this is an area I will go back to once my knees are better and I would look forward to doing some more exploration and seeing what else is available there. There are restrooms at the start of the trail. They look like they would be regular bathrooms but they are kind of like glorified out houses in effect. But it's the kind of thing to be grateful for that there is a restroom at all LOL. By the way there's a really cool modern glass House that you can see from the parking lot. I'm not sure how to get there or whether it's actually inhabited or not but it's really cool to look at.”

“This is a great hike if you like ocean views. Not too steep for a challenging work out, but you will get a calorie burn. The trail is slightly overgrown but if you can deal with spider webs and bees you will enjoy yourself.”

“Short walk up the hillside. View from the top of the Pacific Ocean below is breathtaking. Could be windy and dusty so be properly suited up. Trail starts at the parking lot of Malibu Seafood Patio so you could get their famous fish and sticks after your hike. Or go across the highway under the bridge to enjoy the ocean.”

“Get here early. Street parking only. Narrow beach with short cliff walk down from the street. Port-a-potty bathrooms and short walk to a restaurant. All this adds up to uncrowded even on a weekend in the summer, purely due to lack of parking and literal space. Decent waves for the family and a beginner surfer. Only downfall is the road traffic, particularly hogs and rockets”
