“It’s my first visit but this restaurant has been serving good food for more than six years. The interior is charming, intimate and dimly lit. The staff is friendly and helpful. They feature live performances but was none on our visit. The spaghetti squash and burrata appetizer needed a kick and the crab cakes needed more crab meat. The rest of our food was well plated, well seasoned and flavorful. We loved the seared scallops, grilled pork chop and steak frites. The chocolate terrine was dark and rich. I don’t usually like tres leches but this cake was rich and paired well with the guava sauce and berries. Brandon made our dining experience memorable.”

“Beautiful bar. High end. Went there for a graduation party and it was lovely. The food was delicious and the live music was even better. The staff was attentive and excellent as well. The views of the lounge outside was peaceful as it overlooked the hotel. Gorgeous and perfect for receptions.”

“Bars with pool tables in Pasadena CA has to be R Place. When you enter you will be met by Jackie. Fantastic bartender with a great sense of humor. She is really good at making everyone feel at home. R Place is a local dive bar with everything a good dive bar would have. This is my go to place when I am in Pasadena. Thanks for a really good time R Place.”
