“I recently fell and lacerated my chin — I had to stop by the emergency room to have the wound evaluated and get stitches. I originally was quite worried that I might get an infection or a bad scar (due to the fact that the gash was over an inch wide and went as deep as the jawbone), but luckily I had the pleasure of getting my wound treated by Dr. Shoji. Not only was he a friendly person, but he did an absolutely fantastic job cleaning and stitching the wound. He perfectly applied the local anesthetic, thoroughly cleaned the gash, and then proceeded to do two layers of stitches to ensure a solid recovery and minimize chances of the cut reopening. The doctors in the ER are always rushed to treat many patients, but Dr. Shoji took his time to make sure he did the job right. For that reason, I give him my full recommendation. He is a great doctor.”
