“After consuming reformed resources over many years from theologians like Luther, Calvin, Owen, Machen, Sproul, Fesko, Godfrey, etc, I was thrilled to finally discover a wonderful, Biblically solid, confessional, reformation church here in Santa Clarita! This friendly and warm congregation is committed to sound theology and caring for each person that walks through the door. The minister, a brilliant and approachable graduate of Westminster Seminary (not to mention an expert in Greek and Biblical Theology), faithfully preaches from the Bible, proclaims the Gospel in every service, cares for each person in church, and can answer in an understandable way the most difficult challenges/questions. There’s a large group of children ranging from infant to teenagers that are also extremely welcoming and kind - one of the coolest things was seeing teenagers and older kids being so kind to my young daughter. There’s also regular men’s and women’s Bible studies, frequent gatherings, and LOTS of excellent food. I love bringing my family to hear the truth, be ministered to by the Word and sacraments, and enjoy the fellowship. More importantly, in an era of great compromise, error, and novel doctrine, I trust SCURC to be steadfast to their Biblical, confessionally reformed, historical, orthodox, sound convictions. The food was all delicious… perfect seasoning… not too salty not to spicy not too many bell peppers… there was a good portions of protein. We came here for a date night, and will return. It wasn’t too busy, maybe 4 customers/tables were occupied. We did get the two main dishes before the appetizer, but that’s fine… the shrimp tum yum was delicious. Hubby had a chicken dish and we ordered some iced coffee and wontons. The location was clean… and you know it’s going to be amazing when there’s tons of sauces and utensils at the table. Also I love the menu with many pictures because sometimes you don’t know what a dish consists of and the pics for the plates is really helpful. Definitely recommend this place.”
