“Dreary, rainy winter of '23 and the photos/videos reflect it. Ok, this one. I can't say why with specificity but I'm simply unimpressed. I think, maybe, I'm becoming jaded by the volume of Parks in the SCV. There's nothing glaringly wrong with Heritage. Here's the good. Easy access to the San Francisquito Trail Paseo. It also has three well maintained tennis courts. Bathrooms are clean. There are two large fields for running around. Pavilion and numerous benches throughout the park. Charcoal grills. So, it's not a bad park. It is however right along Newhall Ranch Road, one of the busiest roads in Santa Clarita. Onr entrance and parking lot is off Newhall. Another is at the intersection of Fairview and McBean Pkwy, another very busy road. You can see some scenery but it's not the most picturesque park in the inventory. I gave it 4 stars mostly for the paseo access and tennis courts. It's really a 3+ star park so I rounded up.”

“Im not an expert, I just appreciate that the City of Santa Clarita built this facility for its resident and even visitors to enjoy. It provides healthy reasons to be out in the sun. I find the staff friendly. Its a great addition to the Sports & Aquatic Complex.”

“Extremely organized, punctual and very professional atmosphere. Not at all what I was expecting being it was located inside Vons supermarket. I hesitated wondering would it be private or like bank institutions located within supermarkets with big glass windows separating the two. This was not like this at all! You walked in and it was a nice private office, very neat and comfortable. You checked yourself in and when they called my name I went into a small private lab where my blood was drawn, given instructions for further test and I was on my way. Deffinately give it a try if this has been your concern. You will not be disappointed.”

“There are many parks. The parks in Valencia are tied by paths for walking or bicycles that are called paseos. All parks have an area for children to play on equipment. There is often a big open space grass area. Some have exercise equipment too. There are places to sit on a bench or table and benches.”

“Gosh, if you'd like to take your family outdoors for a breather & great view, I highly recommend this place. My family and I had a blast. Just try getting there early as there's no parking. You kind of have to park alongside the road. Not to steep of a walk down, depending on where you park. It's free, but no bathrooms or BBQ pits and stuff. So, pack some sandwiches and stuff. :)”

“When I was 6, so like 13ish years ago, before there was even the park. I was leaving from elementary school one day when a car hit the fire hydrant and sheared it clean off. The resulting guiser was easily 50ft tall. My mother wouldn't let me jump into it. I still regret being the good child, I could've outrun her. I still want to fly.”

“Awesome hike in the suburban Wilderness. Initial uphill is a glute-burner. Latter 2/3rds is rated easy imho.”

“There are 2 tennis courts, a basketball court, good restrooms, a decent size kids jungle gym playground and sand pit, and a really good softball/baseball field. Lots of big shady trees for the whole area. Softball field isn't standard death, it is a little shorter than normal. I give it 5 stars because the grass is pretty green and not patchy, everything seems well maintained. In comparison to other parks, this one is probably outstanding. I think that there is even access to back trail area just north of the parking lot for riding mountain or BMX bikes. Just keep your eye out for the street you need to turn onto, it kind of sneaks up on you ????.”

“Great open field. Good place to bring kids and throw a ball, or have them run around. No bathrooms, and no outdoor structures, so the potential is limited. But for sports or a quick stop it's great.”

“This is a great park for smaller children to enjoy. Children ages 3-7 are probably more fit for this park than older children but all in all it's a great family park and like all parks in Santa Clarita it's open from sunup to sundown so enjoy and post your pics...”
