“It's a Starbucks -- quick, efficient, to the point for coffee and espresso drinks. Inside and outside of location were clean and free of debris/garbage/litter -- I did not check out the restroom. I ordered an iced chai tea latte with regular milk, petit vanilla bean scones, and also purchased an apple juice box. The chai tea was sweet but not overly sweet or diluted by milk and/or ice -- it tasted refreshing and creamy, as I expect an iced chai tea latte from Starbucks to be. The petit vanilla bean scones were decent -- dense, but not too biscuit-like. Each of the little scones looks as though it would weigh 1-1.5 ounces. They are filling enough, especially for such a small pastry. And the juice box... Well, it's a juice box. Not expired. Overall, if you're looking for a Starbucks to stop at when you want something with coffee, espresso, or tea, and you're on Artesia by Van Ness, this is your place.”

“We got our bowls quickly even though there was a line. I got the regular acai bowl tropical flavor. All bowls come with banana Granola and honey. The regular and small come with one free topping. The large comes with three toppings. I always wanted to Try goji berries, so I asked the cashier what topping she would recommend with the goji berries and she said strawberry. Boy, was she right. He got a large tropical acai bowl with pineapple, strawberries, and blueberries. They dont use ice in their blended mix so it comes out really smooth and flavorful.”

“They are TAKEOUT ONLY. I didn’t mind at all. The food was amazing. Straight up, just curry with sides and main of your choosing. The medium spicy didn’t really taste all that spicy to me. I’ll have to order hot next time around. The food was definitely worth the drive from my area. XL rice is really XL, it’s more for 3-4 main ingredients. Japanese curry to me isn’t complete without the pickled vegetables which they do have. For my mains, I chose Chicken cutlet and sausage. The chicken was cooked perfectly, not dry at all. Will definitely look forward to next time I’m able to stop by.”

“For the price you pay, they give plenty of food and the quality is very good. I tried the beef stew curry with chicken katsu. The only negative was that the macaroni salad tasted a little bland compared to other places in the area. Also one interesting thing is that they have crumbled packet ramen in the cabbage salad, which seemed a little odd at first, but I liked it since it made the salad more crunchy. If you order a bigger place (around 13 dollars) you are basically getting two meals which is a great deal.”

“I just went to this place for the first time. As mentioned in a lot of the reviews this place has a lot of Japanese imports of English music and Japanese music but it has plenty of domestic stuff also. The shop is really small but I found a lot of great stuff at good prices. All the records are ultrasonically cleaned with quality poly inner liners and ultra clear outer covers. Even the stuff in their bargain bins had these premium features. I ended up buying a whole box of records and I definitely plan to go back to this great little shop again. They also have a bunch of vintage gear for sale in the shop also.”

“Just moved to Torrance and found this barbershop when searching on google nearby. Based on the great reviews before me, I decided to go in as a walk-in. Sure enough they greeted me and took me in right away. There were 3 ladies there and I got situated with the younger Asian female (sorry didn’t get her name), but she’s wearing all black in the ad photos. She did great job with my cut and followed my instructions. It’s hard to find a barber that can leave you feeling like a big bucks but they do it here. Cut was great, prices were competitive. $28 for a cut and razor detail. I’ve paid more for worst service so I didn’t mind leaving a generous tip. The shop was clean and smelled good, well taken care of. I will definitely be going back! Thank you ladies at Delwee Barbershop!”
