“This is the park we take our dogs for a walk at. It's clean and well maintained. There's a walking path around the park, a playground, basketball courts, baseball fields, restrooms, and exercise stations with equipment. There can be several people walking their dogs during busy times of the day. Be on the look out, sometimes people don't put their dog on a leash.”

“I attended a meeting in a conference room w/a large group of friends. It was equipped w/a kitchen & restrooms. It was a good place to hold the meeting. The park itself is a fine park as well. Limited parking & closest street/neighborhood parking is 2 blocks away.”

“Seriously the best park in all of Whittier and the surrounding area. It's trails may not be as long (a full loop is about 1.6 miles) but the instant you step into Murphy Ranch you are surrounded by nature, civilization disappears. I lived in big basin state park for two years, and now in Whittier this is the only place I will go. It's the best.”

“Life has been a little difficult for me and lately I’ve been trying to find places to help me relax. I found that coming to this peaceful little park has helped me on some of my toughest days. It’s quite lovely. The scenery is well known and many people even come to have their wedding photos taken here. There’s plenty of trees that provide shade so i typically bring a blanket and lay under a tree to get some fresh air.”
