“I have long mistrusted mechanics, this attitude completely changed when I met Chris. I know plenty enough about cars to know when someone knows his stuff. This guy is genius level. He was able to diagnose my toasted exhaust valves by the sound of the exhaust! He also fixed a boost leak in my intake manifold once while looking for something different altogether. Ignore folk claiming that he is expensive, as he charges the same rate as everyone else. Furthermore when someone knows what he is doing the job typically gets done quicker. How many times do you want to pay someone to throw expensive parts at a problem without first knowing what is actually causing the problem to begin with? Buying parts you don't need, and wasting hours worth of labor installing them! Proper diagnostics is the real art of being a masterful mechanic, and this is precisely where most mechanics fail, hard. They want to blame it on all the new high tech electronic stuff! It would be entirely appropriate to call him an automotive master diagnostician! Even after I move I will still tow my vehicles to this place. Thank you Chris!”

“We were on our way up to camp when we got an unexpected flat tire. We found Fast Tire Service about a mile away and limped the car there. Within a minute of us arriving, the car was in the air being worked on. We were back on the road with a new tire in 10 minutes. They were super friendly and indeed fast. “***Original review below was 5 stars.*** [Read all the way to the bottom] Love this place. Good ol GM has a paint peeling issue on some of there trucks. Mine is a 2015 GMC Denali. Never had an issue until 6 months ago. Then the peeling started. It was around the windshield area. Sides and top. Took it a couple of places for an estimate. The first one needed to schedule an appointment a week later. That's a non starter for me. Drove to Madera Glass and Body Shop. Very professional and receptive of a potential customer. Liked everything about my first impression. They gave me my estimate. I contemplated for a week to decide if I wanted to do this at all. Nothing to do with them, just me needing to be sure this GM paint issue is something I wanted to approach. Truck is 7 years old low mileage and a beauty minus the paint problem. They had to pull the windshield to do this job. It has the white diamond pearl. Tough to match is putting it lightly. Madera Glass and Body matched it perfectly. They did an amazing job. When dropping off I told them in so many words I have little tolerance for anything subpar, and I love my truck. Jarrod said, no worries, he loves my truck too. Beautiful work. Thank you so much. Update: #1 ***This update was 2 stars*** After getting home and checking closely on things, I noticed while driving into the sun my windshield had a massive amount of clear coat overspray on the entire windshield. Couldn't tell this was an issue due to the way the sun was hitting my windshield when I picked up my truck. I called and asked to speak with Jarrod. I was told he wasn't available but he would get the message and return my call before the end of the day. This was at 1:10pm Thursday August 4th. As I write this, it is now 2:20pm on August 8th. No return phone call. Back to the mess I was left with. After a lot of research I figured out the best and safest way to deal with this problem. I went and bought a clay bar kit and spent hours restoring my windshield to like new condition. Bad on them. I do not recommend 😐 I am unable to support this shop at this time. Communication is key to success. Hopefully nobody else will experience this. It is not good. Madera Glass and Body. You need to do better by your customers, we are why you are able to sustain as a business. Update: #2 ***This update is 4 stars*** It is August 9th, at 2:05pm I received a call from Jarrod. He said he had been out of the office and called to follow up. We will go with that. He is very concerned of what I had noticed after leaving the day I picked up my truck. He did what any good business person would do. He asked me what he could do to make it right. I let him know I already dealt with the windshield but there were a couple of more things he needed to know. We talked for a bit, my goal is to let him know what went down so others don't have the same experience as I.
