What a beautiful beach! In the shallow water you can watch little crabs doing their funny crab business or you can just walk around and take a look at all these odd shaped little rocks. At one point you will be convinced they all have little faces. :-) We also watched a beautiful sunset at Agate Beach and it felt almost magical.
Windswept reef and ocean. Beautiful sunsets and fun place to checkout the reef or take a long walk on the beach.
Fun place to wander around and sift through tide pools for critters. Make sure to check the tide table before you go, otherwise everything will be hidden at high tide. Don't make the mistake we did and put "Duxbury Reef" in the GPS. It'll lead you to a cow pasture.
A bit tucked away from the town of Bolinas but here you will find lots of neat sea trinkets and drift wood. Great for a long stroll down the beach. Just Know your tide times as it's easy to get trapped due to high tides.
It was beautiful. My first time on Agate beach. Free parking. Check the tide chart. We got there early and saw all kinds of interesting things in the tide pools.
