(December 24, 2018, 12:02 am)Beautiful hike that is not so crowded. Come early to avoid the afternoon crowd. Trails can be muddy and wet in the winter especially after some rain, so wear shoes that you don't care if they get muddy. Lots of fungi during the wet winter. Wish I went with someone who has more knowledge than I do about the different plants. Didn't make it to the waterfall this time, but can't wait to go back to see it.

(October 17, 2018, 2:16 pm)Gorgeous waterfall at the end of about a 2 mile hike.. 4 miles roundtrip not too strenuous fairly level ground till reaching the beach. Steep climb down to waterfall however well worth it!

(August 19, 2018, 2:28 pm)Great hike, but this is a VERY popular hike. Many on the trail do not understand trail etiquette. Simple things like pausing to let others pass rather than forcing them into the massive amounts of poison oak along the trail or packing out their toilet paper and trash rather than leaving it along the trail have degraded the experience for others. There are toilets at the beginning of the trail and end of the trail but none along the trail. Best advice: Use the toilets and carry along a bag for your toilet paper and poop. There is a very good likelihood that you will have to relieve yourself along the trail.
