Upper Campground

Beautiful campground. A little compact but there are some more secluded sites. Do a scout of the sites before making your pick. My favorite part was seeing the Coho salmon spawning (late December).

Smallish sites, but a beautiful area and nicely laid out paths with split rail fences around sites preventing people cutting through for restrooms. Restrooms even had soap and hot water. Would come back.

Great campground tucked under the redwoods, right along the creek. Upper Loop is up, off the creek, but the sites have a bit more privacy, particularly the sites on the outside of the loop, than those creek side. Very clean and well-maintained. Definitely check the RV & trailer lengths as some turns within the campground are pretty tight. Being literally tucked between the trees is amazing, but note that many times father sites don't have a large amount of space for a ginormous tent, or even 2 medium sized ones.
