(February 16, 2019, 5:59 pm)Love this hike. Today it was nice and muddy and some of the streams we're flowing high. Just be careful crossing some of the more faster deeper streams after a long rain. Mount Burdell has many different paths to take and the views are always fun to check out. Multiple paths means different times to finish. This hike will not disappoint. Parts get a little slippery / Rocky. Keep Dogs on leash. Cattle are usually present. Every know and then you will see a snake.

(January 11, 2019, 10:23 am)Watch out for cows. The young ones can be dog aggressive. Love the variety of hiking trails and many friendly people around. Check out the map if you are unfamiliar with the area. I have had to help out several people who got turned around. Mostly unshaded, but there are some lovely bay tree groves.

(July 11, 2018, 3:37 pm)My. Burdell is has great view of Novato. Great hike. Although it could be a little hot in the summer time, so I would recommend to do that hike either in the morning or late afternoon.
