  Beautiful park a bit off the beaten track. Small parking area often with lines of cars waiting to park on weekends. Trails and fire roads lead up to lakes and beyond to Mt Tam. Toilet facilities available. Great place for a short walk or a long hike. Come prepared and dress accordingly. Dogs must be on leashes.

  Great access to trails and lots of natural beauty. Parking can be a challenge on weekends.

  I really enjoy visiting this park. Lots of trails to hike and amazing views. It never gets old.

  Parking is limited esp between 4:30 and 6pm. the wait to park is usually not so bad. it is free. The lake(s) are super lovely and can be jogged in 25 min or hike around in about an hour. keep you pets on leash as there are fines if you do not due to the lake being drinking water. Also, do not let me or a local see you walking away from your dogs poo. This space is strictly a pick up your own poo area. We will come down on you if you disrespect this space in any way. There are trails that link up out of this location to mountain bike and connect to Deer Park and you can even connect trails all the way to the Headlands and SF if you like. Please, pick up your trash and be prepared to see a lot of people around this lake in comparison to other areas. .... if you are needing alone time for thought (or mourning) this may not be the best escape. Try to get out into West Marin areas for more solitude.
