“I organized a group trip to McEvoy and they did not disappoint. We were escorted up the hill to their old milk/feed barn that overlooks the rolling hills of the property. We were given a little history lesson, as well as given the proper technique to taste olive oil (it’s fun I promise). Staff was welcoming and encouraging - let us ask questions and mix and mingle among the vines (we also did a wine tasting). Highly recommend for corporate or large groups that you want to impress or make feel special!”

The goods are beautifully collected and displayed, the quality is top, the staff is kind and willing to help or let you browse unbothered. The visual and sensory experience is a delight. I had a great visit and came home with a spectacular piece of Fermob outdoor furniture perfect for my SF view deck, Caitlin helped me get in my Prius and I will enjoy this piece forever, and will be a devoted patron of this place for that long too. “A local, and lovely knitting store just opened in downtown Tiburon, CA. Filled with a rich selection of yarns in every possible color, knitting needles, yarn wash, classes and workshops, and almost everything else knitting related. There are three sitting / knitting areas, the front window, the back alcove, and the community room. Light, bright, and airy, the space is as lovely as the helpful staff. $$$ out of $$$$$ expensive. Street parking, or an adjacent paid lot. Clean, gender neutral bathroom. Wheelchair accessible. I would recommend Knit House on Main, in Tiburon, CA.”

“A little bit out of the way between San Rafael and Larkspur Landing, this is a kitchen/restaurant supply place. I stopped by to replace some wine glasses due to breakage. I took an old one along so as to pick out the same size one. They tend to have the same selection year after year. Not fancy, just generic wine glasses. The same with plates, serving ware, napkins. This is a large space but does not feel like a warehouse. Run by a family who are most welcoming and friendly, this is a great place to stock up on basic kitchen supplies for the cabin, rental unit as well as home.”

“Great little place for salad and sangria with outdoor seating! You can tell this is family-owned. The staff cares a lot about your experience. Started with the red sangria which was nice and light and refreshing. Then a small Mediterranean salad - perfect with all the Greek ingredients plus stuffed grape leaves and eggplant. My friend got the Greek salad. Everything was very good and the service was friendly and efficient!”

“Let me start by saying I don't give many 5 star reviews however my experience with Ken's carpet & Flooring was nothing but excellent. I was looking to replace the carpet in a rental unit, quickly, and not sure if I should go with carpet, wood floor, or a synthetic wood. Ken spent about an hour going through the pros and cons of each product. With his guidance I was able to make an informed decision and decided on a carpet material. I had a difficult time choosing color and it was the end of the day (at the start of a holiday weekend) but Ken offered to bring samples to the house so I could see what i liked. I was able to decide what I liked from that however because I was painting the interior of the house as well I was not sure about color combinations. Ken offered to go back to the store (that was closed now) and look at paint colors with me. He had a paint sample booklet to go through, a good eye for color combinations, and I was able to not only make a confident on the carpet, but with my painters. I told Ken I was in a hurry for installation and he was able to schedule me quickly. The installation went smoothly, and on time, and I am very happy with the outcome (including the paint colors he suggested). Note: 1) Customer service was flawless 2) Prices were great (extremely competitive) 3)The information and advice I was given was sound and in my best interest. 4) Not only does Ken run a great business, he's a pretty nice guy. 5) I will be a return customer and highly recommend this business”

“I popped in here today to grab a few snacks before going to the park with my nephew. This market has been around for decades but I have not been inside in over 15 years. I was so impressed with all the choices of healthy products on the shelves, the amazing and affordable organic produce, and the deli. The staff were helpful and friendly.
