They got us in the next day for our ac issues when other shops couldn't get us in for a week. He was super nice and understanding. He let us know that our warranty through MSEFCU probably wouldn't cover it but said he'd try. So he gave us realistic expectations in that department. He called us a few hrs later to let us know. His recommendations and it we were low on freon, a seal might be bad and he wanted to do a dye test to know for sure. We authorized the amount in case warranty didn't pay, it needed done regardless. He called a few hrs after that to let us know it was done, he filled up the freon, replaces a seal or Gasquet and it didn't show any other leaks. And that warranty paid all of it! So if your looking for a good auto mechanic look no further. And when buying a used car and are debating an extended warranty MSEFCU platinum was not only way cheaper than car max warranty, it covered way more and you can take your car to any certified shop! I highly recommend their warranty.

The new owner Juan , is extremely knowledgeable, and More efficient mechanic than the old owner of Banks in Atwater. I highly recommend his services, For all your automotive needs.

This is a man you can trust. John is skilled, reliable, and gives a fair deal on all inspections and repairs. I ALWAYS go to John Banks for any kind of maintenance. Half the price of same work done by a dealer, but as good or better work. The main thing for me is character.
