“This area has a parking lot, a 1.5 mile walking trail, several benches, picnic tables, and a large viewing platform. It is across from the Homen Dairy and just East of the main Merced Wildlife Refuge area. I came on a Sunday afternoon in February and was the only one here. I saw several redtail hawks. This would be a good place at sunset from November through February to see various geese and cranes.”

You can check off a bunch of new species on your life list here during migration season. Even in the off season there are some birds, busy dragonflies and wildlife hopping through here. Has restrooms, bird blinds, short hikes to stretch your legs. Bring your binoculars or your spotting scope.”

“omg i went to this school in 2010 i miss this school i loved it there i wanna go back and see it but i live too far. Im a 7th grader now this is so crazy i loved this school and i wish there was a elementary reunion to see all my old friends and teachers. i still remember that sand part there was so much sand we weren't allowed to play in it but all the kids still did and my cousin went there too i love this school and i want to see the classroom pictures in 2010”
