We, as an Army Family of 7, newest then was Sister - Gina, drove out from Huntsville, Alabama - Red Stone Arsenal(Ordinance Corps Base - Rocketry - Missles and all that goes with it including Famous German Rocket Scientist - Werner von Braun - the One - .
That was in 1964 and it was Summer!
Our Family chose Napa since it was next to The-Valey-of-the-Moon, town of Sonoma where my Mother was raised a great deal of her childhood through High School on Napa St. in the 1940's.
Grand View Mobile Home Park was alrwady there & established. Across America 2 more CONSECUATIVE TIMES - '65 to Virginia, lastly, back to Napa-'66 and the whole Fam Damily then hopped on board a Boeing 707 for the "going to Asia" route all airlines were using in the Day, destination Pusan, South Korea on Hialeah Compound, U.S. Armed Forces where -
NO ENEMY STOOD FOOT during the Korean War.
The Pusan Perimeter was a Bloody, Mean & Nasty battle where a 13 mile Radius around this Southernmost harbor is all that was left for the Allies to retreat from, slowly. Rugg Family stationed @ Hialeah 1966-1968 !
A MOST HISTORIC SPELL IN ALL TIME - for all of us Earthlings and We knew it because it was INTENSE on all Continents.
All acrooss my America then, were Classic "Grand View" Mobile Home Parks almost in every place over 10,000 Souls in population and were complimented by the Old Motel Days styled motels with pools, coin-op vibrating beds & noen at night to attract bugs n fireflies !

I am truly BLESSED to have lived where and when and how and with/without and whom & when I did. Thank U Creator !

Well kept grounds. Has clean well groomed clubhouse and pool. Nice big grass area. Great family park.

one of the best managed parks ive ever been in. management is very much respected for their caring not only for the park but for the people of the park. anyone looking for a nice place to call home would be lucky to live here. as all said, im a happy camper.
