(March 7, 2022, 8:47 pm)Thank you Paul and Mindy for making our trip to Truckee truly special. The B&B is located right across Donner Lake and we felt right at home. The room was warm, cozy and very comfortable with views into the forest. Paul and Mindy go above and beyond for their guests. Highlight was the homemade breakfast and stories Paul and Mindy shared. Hope to go back soon. Perfect location to many ski resorts in the area.
(January 30, 2022, 6:39 pm)This place is excellent! The 5-star rating doesn't quite do it justice (I almost feel like we need a 6th star for "Exceptional"!). The room was super clean. And despite all of the snow outside, it was warm and cozy inside. Breakfast was cooked and served by Paul and Mindy themselves and it was fantastic; best breakfast I've had in a while! And the hospitality that Paul and Mindy gave us brought our stay to a whole other level. I highly recommend this place.
(January 30, 2022, 6:14 pm)Mindy and Paul were an utter delight. I am still fantasizing about the egg and hashbrown concoction Mindy made for breakfast. Hold on while I wipe away the drool...The rooms were picturesque, crisp, and clean. The view was stunning. Did not want for anything. Will stay here again.
(April 12, 2021, 1:23 pm)Our stay at the Donner Lake Inn B&B was wonderful! Such a great location right along a creek by Donner Lake with easy access to lots of trails for hiking/snowshoeing as well as easy access into downtown Truckee with lots of great restaurants. Paul's hospitality made our stay so memorable and unique with a hand-written note upon our arrival and wonderful breakfast delivered directly to our room each morning. I definitely plan to return again and am already looking forward to my next stay.
