“Thanks Dr. Liu and Claire for standing by me through the storms and for the many lessons. Classical still plays in the office and Claire's trays are lovely in red/blue. This time Dr. Liu was whistling to the music---while practicing dentistry he does not need to think about that which is innate. Polishing was nice and I came out shinier than I went in (teeth). Post Dr. Glass (retired) in Newport Beach and in our search for a Dentist, we learned of an office named Unique Dental. Naturally I thought ok "What is so unique?" This office is located at the southeast the corner of an L shaped shopping plaza on W. Central Avenue and Puente Street. One of the first messages seen on door is "Watch your step!" which makes one ponder, why? Dr. Liu whistles and often we laugh while discussing physics disguised as everyday stuff. This office is unassuming at first. However notice custom carpet, the beautiful water decanter with purple cups, and a secret sign left of doorway relating to USC graduate Dr. Liu. Look up and discover many degrees tactfully displayed on cheerful yellow walls. Stress quickly dissipated with an earful of music appointment. Claire was our first contact and her dedication is evident---trays were planned to the specific needs of the patient and she had a pink cup for me. Grateful for Dr. Liu tending to my dental needs with skill/concern. He demonstrated proper practices (several times) and outperformed other dentists who pulled teeth joyfully. USC obviously is an amazing school. I witness still the unrelenting dedication, attention and perseverance evident in graduates like Dr. Liu/Claire who are without question 5 Star level practitioners. COVID19 measures in observance (IP). Unique indeed.”

Look up and discover a homage to USC and a multitude of degrees hang silently on happy bright walls. Stress quickly dissipated with opera playing during my appointment. Claire is my contact and her dedication is evident---trays were thoughtfully/planned to patient needs. Appointments made with ease. Grateful for Dr. Liu who satisfied my dental needs with kindness. He demonstrated proper practices (several times) and outperformed other dentists who pull teeth for thrills. USC obviously is an amazing school. Still witnessing the unrelenting dedication, attention and perseverance (observed) of graduates like Dr. Liu and Claire who are without question 5 Star level practitioners. I knew to call once I got to the appointment and stay in my car until called to avoid other patients. Everything was organized and I felt VERY safe.”

“I don’t mind going to the dentist anymore! Not the way Dr. Scott Shew treats me. For the last several years I’ve had nothing but good experiences and my friends and family that I recommended feel the same way. Take today for example, upon my arrival, I was treated with a smile by his friendly staff. Always very nice and ready to help. The dental hygienist was very nice too. She explaineyd what she was doing, put a drop of Lavender oil on my bib, dimmed the lights, put soft music and by the end of my cleaning, I felt relaxed as if I was at a spa. Loved every bit of it. Dr. Shew then stopped in and examined my teeth and asked how I was doing. The office is very clean too. I highly recommend Dr. Scott Shew!”
