“Easy walk from the parking lot to the beach through the tunnel. The couple times we have been here, there has been water in the tunnel so expect to have to walk through it. It appears it fills up during the evening from the high tide and slowly drains during the day. The water is pretty clean and actually helps clean the sand off on the way back to the parking lot. If you don't want to get your feet wet because you want to take a stroll along the beach or something, I would avoid this route. Otherwise, it is fine. There are restrooms and showers here. The beach is beautiful and is a part of Crystal Cove State Park. Walk about half mile north along the beach and you will find tide pools, which are fun to explore. We camped at Moro Campground twice now, which is just above the parking lot to the tunnel. Because we got there prior to early check-in time for the campground, we went ahead and paid for the day pass to access the parking lot. The day pass that day was $15 and couple be used at any of the state parks. There are other hiking trails to the wilderness area from this parking lot.”

“I didn’t actually know this shop existed until a friend gave me a gift card for my birthday last year. It took me a while to finally make my way into Laguna to check the place out. I can’t even tell you how many times or how much I think my friend for not only the gift of the card, but the gift of the knowledge of this fantastic shop! All of the employees are so friendly and helpful. There are great little cards with notes under so many books to help guide you through your purchasing. I can’t say enough about how lovely it feels just to be inside the shop.”

My nieces got a new laser for acne called AviClear. There’s two more treatments required but so far so good. Going back when I can for laser hair removal. “Our stay at the Hoku Lani Beach house was amazing! The house is furnished with everything you could ever need and more, from the fully stocked kitchen to beach toys and even bicycles for a ride along coastal S. Kihei Road. There’s plenty of room for family gatherings. The patios all around the house are perfect for morning tea or relaxing after a day at the beach while the fresh fish is grilling out back. The location is incredible with three beaches within a 1- 2 minute walk. We swam with a dozen turtles at Charlie Young beach just at the end of the road and saw whales breaching right off shore. It’s a quick walk in one direction for the best fish tacos on island and a stroll in the other direction to a health food store, surf shops and restaurants. To top it off, I took an evening bath under the moon in the outdoor soaking tub in the back yard. Can’t wait to go back. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else!”

“I had the great pleasure of joining Bebe’s Zoom class yesterday. We learned basic acrylic painting 🎨techniques and over a couple hours we created a beautiful painting of roses on canvas! Bebe was patient and attentive and gave each of us her personalized attention. She has a fun and casual way of guiding you at a comfortable pace. Her attention to our needs started pre class with an email detailing the supplies (paint, brushes, canvas size) and a subject photo to print so we were well prepared. We were a small class with people in Canada and the US, yet it felt like we were all together. If you can’t take a live class with Bebe in California, I highly recommend Zooming with her. I cant wait to do it again! 👍🏻👍🏻”

“I’m so glad I found this amazing spot! I wish I lived closer so I could eat this wholesome food everyday. I can’t recommend this place enough. The quality of ingredients is top notch. I got two different soups, Cauliflower and beans, and a burger and everything was excellent in taste and freshness of the ingredients. It truly felt like straight from the farm to the table. I took some food to go as well and it was equally good experience the next day. In my opinion that’s usually a good indicator of how fresh the ingredients are. There was a kid named Marco (not sure about the name) who served and made the dishes. He was very honest with his recommendations and I really appreciated that. I would visit this place again if I am in the area even if it’s a large detour. Thank you for the experience!”
