“The park offers a stunning visual display as it sits atop the steps leading down to the beach. The view from this spot is truly breathtaking and beautiful. It's a vantage point that shouldn't be missed, almost rivaling the experience of trekking to a summit, but without the physical effort. As you descend towards the beach, words can hardly capture its beauty. Although we visited on a weekend and encountered large crowds, it was still an incredibly enjoyable experience.”

“Easy walk from the parking lot to the beach through the tunnel. The couple times we have been here, there has been water in the tunnel so expect to have to walk through it. It appears it fills up during the evening from the high tide and slowly drains during the day. The water is pretty clean and actually helps clean the sand off on the way back to the parking lot. If you don't want to get your feet wet because you want to take a stroll along the beach or something, I would avoid this route. Otherwise, it is fine. There are restrooms and showers here. The beach is beautiful and is a part of Crystal Cove State Park. Walk about half mile north along the beach and you will find tide pools, which are fun to explore. We camped at Moro Campground twice now, which is just above the parking lot to the tunnel. Because we got there prior to early check-in time for the campground, we went ahead and paid for the day pass to access the parking lot. The day pass that day was $15 and couple be used at any of the state parks. There are other hiking trails to the wilderness area from this parking lot.”

“One of the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. Despite Sunday morning, I saw many people enjoying hiking or bike riding. It took me 1h 20min each way, so 3 hours in total to hike. Go in early morning or evening, and you’ll enjoy the gorgeous sunrise or sunset!”

“The park is wonderful! The Google map directions took me to the "entrance gate" of the park on Cress street, but there are actually a few parking spaces available where the park borders calliope street, so that's where I'll park next time.”

“A beautiful landscaped path with benches to sit and view sailboats, whales and dolphins. We saw all of the above! Beaches are beautiful and quite a climb but there is handicap access as well. The parking is easy and accessible. Well worth the visit.”

“The beautiful view of Laguna Beach to the north, Dana Point to the south, and Catalina Island and the Pacific Ocean Ocean the west is well worth the short but deceptively strenuous hike. Be sure to bring water. The bench at the summit is dedicated to Orange County's first Park Ranger, Daniel Hanson.”

“Playground is next to the beach. Not big, but you can enjoy the view while watching the kids play. Also, nice beach to walk and play with the kids. Need to pay for parking.... if I remember correctly it is about $1 per hour.”

“Hidden gem and the smallest beach in town! I love walking down this curvy staircase to the tiny beach/tidepool below. From this vantage point, you can enjoy unobstructed views of Laguna Beach, and even Dana Point on a clear day! You can also relax on the giant rocks at the end of the staircase and watch surfers ride the waves along Heisler Park’s mini beaches. This is a perfect secluded and romantic spot to watch the sunrise or sunset. There isn’t space to do much in this area but I recommend at least walking down the staircase for a little peek at this beautiful and tiny craggy shore!”

“This park is awesome: great soccer pitch, an extensive obstacle course for the kids, tennis and basketball courts and a running/exercise circuit. Worth the drive up from the coast. For a great workout, run from Top of the World to Moulton Meadows along the pedestrian-only, crazy steep road. My four boys love this place.”

“A small sorta secluded beach. Not a lot of parking but the beach itself is so beautiful. When it's lowtide, you have a lot of space to play around the shore but not during high tide. The palm trees takes me back to Hawaii. ????”

“Great lttle league baseball field, its well maintained and has some basketball courts and a children's playground adjacent to the field. Not a large park but a nice lil gem just tucked away. A nice group of baseball parents run the snack bar during league paly, with great burgers and all the typical ball park goodies. Great place for families and sharing the great American past time. Play ball!”
