You and the Mat

Aside from the exceptional knowledge and instructions that are given during class the main attraction in my personal opinion is the value that is provided through the daily interaction of each and every employee at this company. Both Katie and Megan have both provided me with exceptional service wisdom and guidance throughout my journey and not only my yoga lessons but throughout my personal life as well. If you are looking for a culture that provides more then any other basic experience then you and the mat is definitely the place to be. Value is not only in the form of a dollar amount. I would happily pay double the price because the experience is incomparable. Even through the covid-19 they continue to check on me an offer me encouraging words. I want to take this time to promote what these young ladies have done at this club and if there is any doubt in selecting this club over another... You and the Mat is very welcoming, classy & modern studio - the nicest in South Orange County. All instructors are highly trained in all phases of yoga which gives me the option of many classes to advance my yoga practice. The studios are very clean, all props (blocks, straps, etc. are always available. The studios are filled with natural light that helps energize my practice, or calm me, depending on the time of day. Parking is well lit and safe. I can't compliment enough how wonderful all the staff is. I have really enjoyed practicing at You and the Mat over the years.

This is one of the nicest yoga studios I’ve been to. Having tried a variety of classes they offer, it’s hard to choose a favorite. For instance, both Leah and Sonny’s Yoga for Flexibility classes are great. I always leave feeling so very invigorated! The Yoga for Healing covers a broad range of gently stimulating postures and for the first time ever, I thoroughly enjoyed the aroma therapy while in the class. Love this place!

Love this place! Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and caring. Super clean faculty and cozy. I love they offer tea as well. I bring my mom who I was nervous may not be able to do much but the trainers are so amazing they go out of their way to correct her positions and modify when she can’t do a move. That’s is way beyond what most yoga places do. I always leave feeling so sore... in a great way!!!! Definitely recommend this place!

I joined as a member because I wanted to make sure I was engaging in a yoga practice and community 3 times a week. The teachers are lovely, skilled and elevated in their techniques. I could push myself to be a better member of the community - but it's great that it's there and people know your name when you come to class, I even mad a friend!

It's a beautiful facility with inspiring art work and clean accommodations. The decor and furnishings have a good feeling when you enter the space and the boutique has cute items. It has more of the small studio city feel that I am looking for while living in the suburbs!

If you are considering joining a community or just doing a couple classes - this is a beautiful and safe place with great teachers and staff.
