“I have been going to Kari at Headlines Hair Studio in Lake Forest for 24 years now. She highlights and cuts my hair, and I always love how it turns out! I often get compliments on my hair, especially about the highlights. I have long hair, so it takes a long time, but Kari never rushes; she always takes her time to make sure that it is perfect, and she always does a beautiful job. Kari is fun, sweet, kind and the best hairdresser ever! She is an artist, so good at coloring hair and it is always so fun to go and see her. She is the best! Even when I moved out of state for a year and a half, I would never get my hair done by anyone else...I would always wait until I was able to come back to California, so I could have Kari do my hair. I will never go to anyone else. She really is awesome!!!”

“11/12/2020 updating to five star. My nails still look perfect as do my mom’s. She got a manicure and we are ROUGH on our hands and she says it still looks great a week later which is probably a record. Will definitely make this our regular place for our infrequent spa days. Good experience. Able to arrange appointment by text which was very convenient. Got my mom and myself in for my birthday pedicure. No upselling, just accepted what we said we wanted. Made good suggestion for my mom’s color for her toes and used her own finger nail polish. Will definitely be back.”

I came in for a Keratin treatment that usually takes forever and needs to be booked weeks in advance. I called and spoke with Aida who couldn’t have been nicer. I explained my need to get this treatment done ASAP because of my work schedule, she understood my urgency and squeezed me in 48 hours later! This place had upbeat music, super clean and my stylist, Ponta, is absolutely adorable! I’m so happy I found this gem! ? thank you guys for making me look pretty!”

“After my first time there, I knew I found the best salon for me. I've been to other great salons but K8 stood out in a wonderful way. This is forever my salon. They are super nice and good people. The stylists provide excellent services, educational answers to hair care, products, and are great at explaining what it is they are doing to your hair. Very friendly staff that makes you feel welcome, from the front desk to the stylists. They offer you tea, coffee, water, or wine during your stay. The stylists are really nice to talk to, I've always liked the idea of chatting to your stylists but never really felt comfortable. At K8 I feel very relaxed and comfortable and the people who work there always carry a lovely vibe. The prices are very reasonable and the quality is top notch. I've never left unsatisfied. Personally, I really love the stylists Kate Middleton I just connected with her the best. She is amazing at her craft and a joy to be around. She really looks out for what her customer wants. If you have never been, I highly recommend you go and experience the great service, professional hair care, and wonderful people who work really hard to make your experience everything you asked for.”

“Excellent, I now only get my hair cut here. I have a lot of cowlicks, and Richard is the only person who has been able to cut my hair where it doesn't just look "okay" but actually great. I've never been a "reviewer" but felt that i had to share how happy i am with the service and the end result. He does a great job, his shop is extremely clean, and even offers cold drinks. Cannot recommend this place enough and it is definitely worth it.”

“Daniella did airbrush makeup for my mother, mother-in-law, sister, and me and she applied individual lashes for me and strip lashes for my mom and sister. She is such an artist. It's easy to see that she has a lot of experience with a bunch of different face structures as my family all looks relatively different but she was able to accentuate each of our attributes. Getting ready with Daniella really set the mood for my wedding reception day. Daniella is so easy to talk to. She gave each of us tips on makeup and skincare while she did our makeup. She asked us about our lives and hobbies and shared the cutest stories about her family. This easy going nature is invaluable for such a stressful day and I appreciate her kindness more than I can express. The overall experience was just sublime. My mother, who claims she does not like makeup and did not expect wanting to get false eyelashes (until the day of and then it was all, Yes of course!!!), is still raving about how happy she was with her overall look.
