“What a great spot! Charming outdoor patio with blankets and heaters for the rare chilly California day. we went for lunch and they had a good selection of fresh omelettes, salads, sandwiches, and plenty of vegetarian options. good coffee, smoothies and juice. Will definitely be visiting this spot again! for reference, I had the kale quinoa bowl.”

“This place is rarely packed and provides the best sunsets. They have cottages to stay in but you’ll need to book about 6 months in advance and there are many public restrooms that are well kept and clean. If any beach is our go to, Crystal Cove is it.”

“The public access tunnel provides access to the Crystal Cove beach and to the Historic District from the parking lot Los Trancos. The tunnel passes under the Pacific Coast Highway and is a nice alternative to taking the shuttle. The tunnel is well maintained and well lit. Paintings made by local volunteers/students cover the inner walls of the tunnel. The echo inside the tunnel is quite interesting and may make for great sound experiments.”

“This rental was by far the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. From the location , to the rental property itself and all the amenities that came with it far surpassed our expectations. The owner was so awesome to work with too as he made sure we had all info we needed for the area and our stay. We will definitely be back to this piece of paradise! “Excellent french cuisine restaurant in Newport Beach. Located in the Crystal Cove plaza this small but elegant bistro delivers in terms of decor, choice of plates and ambience. The food was delicious and brilliantly paired with a subtle Cabernet that allowed the flavors in the food to pop. Only negative aspect was the electronic music playing, but that will not prevent me from going back.”

“I jokingly call this the world's most expensive strip mall, which may be closer to the truth than we think, but the shops are excellent, the restaurants have been favorite eateries for years, yet, you can still find affordability at Trader Joe's, familiarity at Starbucks and a great sandwich at The Butchery. The parking lot alone is worth the trip. Grab a bite to eat and lay back on the Adirondack chairs while gazing out over the ocean or the locals exotic cars. On any day Crystal Cove Shopping Center is an enjoyable experience.”

“This place is pretty cool and not crowded whatsoever. The only thing is that when they say the trail down the beach is steep... they're not kidding around. Hauling all your stuff down is a piece of cake. Hauling it all back up is an entirely different story. It's a nice beach but dont expect to swim, body board, or boogie board. There's a bunch of rocks that are in your direct path. Overall, great place recommended by a family member.”
