“The private villa clubhouse is a great place to hang out with the family and have a few drinks poolside. The pool is huge and kept at a constant temperature. The entire staff is very accommodating. Most of the folks we met and spoke to use the private clubhouse as they wait for their villa to be ready (which is 5pm by the way). They have a large amount of chairs to relax and umbrellas to keep the sun at bay. The one thing I will mention is that the umbrellas cannot be repositioned as the sun moves. Therefore, you will get a sunburn if you aren't prepared during the summer. The drinks are pretty pricey but it is a 5 star resort.”

“The Pelican Grill is a great place to eat. The quality of the food is very good. Obviously, this place is pricey. The price of entrees for four people came up to around 40 a plate. With tips and other miscellaneous purchases, we paid 190. Overall, the experience was worth it. The view is amazing, the hospitality is great, and the meal was perfect.”

The location was really awesome as we were just right beside the ocean and had an amazing view of it! When we called for assistance in regards of refilling some items, they appeared with our items in less than half an hour! The service was really awesome and fast.”

“Great rental place for bikes! Friendly staff helped me pick a suitable bike for my adventure to Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve, Balboa Island and back to Huntington Beach Pier. The staff were also kind enough to recommend some local places to eat and attractions along my route. Definitely coming back when I’m in town next!”

“Great for events, with good to excellent food and pretty good service. The renovation a few years ago made it much nicer, and the greenhouse/patio is a great spot if you don't like the dim main area. That said, have yet to try the full menu since event menus are, by necessity, somewhat limited... so will have to report back later on the full menu. Also the bar on the side appears to be a solid use of the space, a little crowded but that's how bars should feel, at least in this kind of place!”

“Howard was so kind to stop and look at my ebike. I suddenly lost power and I'm on tour so the bike is fully loaded so it's a handful to get up the hills without any assist. He checked everything and even upgraded the software. He didn't have the parts he thought I might need so off I rode to the next bike shop. As I was grinding up a hill it occurred to me to hit the walk assist as I had used it to come off the ferry to Balboa Island. Immediately the power returned! What a great fix! Problem solved!”

“I visited this studio for a trial class and loved everything about my experience. Signing up for a free class online was effortless. I got a text message with concise instructions on where to park and which entrance to use. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the friendly receptionist and the instructor Abbey. Abbey went on to set me up on my bike and made me feel at ease with the new studio. Her class was insane! She has immense energy, she’s sweet and her workouts are challenging! And she made me feel at home by giving me a few shoutouts during class. I loved that frozen eucalyptus towels are handed out during the final stretch of the last song. Spin shoes are lent out (for free) on signing in. Parking - Free parking in the daytime at the Five Crowns parking lot. Ignore the sign that says the lot is closed. Street parking is available in the evenings and weekends only. I recommend trying this place just for Abbey! She rocks!”

In addition to taking her time in cutting your hair, she is so accommodating and will fit her clients in last minute. Which is greatly appreciated. The Studio has the coolest vibe with the artwork and decor. The stylists are incredibly friendly and down to earth. Artwork is amazing. And it isn't your typical salon in the sense they provide such quality service and are kicked back and cool. If you're looking for a great hair salon in the Laguna Beach/CDM area, with a great vibe and nice people, go The Studio. You won't be disappointed....nor will your hair!”
