We visited the Bradford house yesterday and it was fantastic! The docents were amazing and shared so many facts! We were dear friends with A.S. Bradford’s grandson Albert Sumner Bradford “Bud”- for many years. Definitely a piece of OC History !
The Bradford House is a historic property that is currently a museum run by the Placentia Founders Society.
This Victorian-style house, which was constructed in 1902, was once the home of the Bradford family. A visit to this living museum provides you with a look into the daily life of a pioneer family during that time period.
As you explore the two stories and 15 rooms of the home, you’ll see many artefacts, period furnishings, coved ceilings and a double fireplace.
Guided tours of the house are available on certain days of the month.
It was quite fun performing here as Ellen.
Interesting historical building placed in a parklike setting
