“I had a delightful experience yesterday at this particular TJ Maxx! I was purchasing some discounted items for men, but I realized I have left my debit card at home! I asked the young lady Mary behind the counter if she would save that for me for a few hours. So she put my name on it and I went next door to do a little browsing. As I was getting on the trolley to go back to Dana Point, this little girl came running up to me calling my name! I was already sitting in the trolley and she proclaimed, "Here Ray, you forgot your purchases!" But I reminded her, that I was going home to get my debit card! And she says, "It's okay, I bought them for you!" It was a little more than $10, but what a surprise and a huge blessing this was! That she would pay her own money so that I didn't have to go back to get my card! What a sweetheart! We need more people in this land like Mary! She touched me very deeply! Thank you so much sweet Mary! You just become my favorite person on the face of the Earth! Kudos to Nannette, Store Manager, who hired her! And to Camilla who assisted me when I returned! “Not planning to buy anything, only went into the store so my husband could check out the sales. A few clearance items caught my eye. I was very frustrated that the dressing rooms were closed and you couldn’t even try on shoes! I was ready to walk out on principal alone, and then DENISE shared with me that she was just following the company policy and calmly gave me some ideas about how trying shoes on at home is actually much better. She shared her own experiences with me. She also reminded me of the amazing return policy. She wasn’t affected at all by my negativity and her amazing kindness had a profound effect on me. I let go of my resistance and bought 2 pair and some clothes and now I’m home and I love them! I almost walked away and I’m so grateful for her patience and compassion. I’ve got two new pairs of shoes that I absolutely love that I would have passed up on otherwise! Not to mention what a great deal I got on them! “I’m delighted to have an inspiring and fun place to do aerial arts training in South Orange County’s beautiful San Clemente. Lucy is a lovely knowledgeable instructor with a charming English accent and an outstanding positive personality. There are multiple tissu/silks points rigged and a pulley for doing lyra/hoop & hammock with a high ceiling so you can really “get your climb on.” It’s easy to be motivated as classes are inside Elevate Fitness, just go around to the back entrance for easy access. I’m so happy there is a welcoming place for adults to go to aerial arts class nearby, and there are also children classes available of all levels. It’s a great way to stay in shape and connect.”
