“This is a great dental laser. It is arguably the best. We have the dual wavelength lightwalker. Way better than that LANAP Biolase laser because you can scale and plane with the laser too, not just disinfect and clot - and way cheaper too. You will do the best endo cleansing of your life. Class 1,2,3,4,5,6 fillings, most with no anesthesia. Then all of the soft tissue and osteoplasty stuff on top of that. It can effectively treat peri-implantitis, and actually disinfect the surface of the implant without damaging the titanium, or overheat it. The company also focuses well on education. Courses are available all the time for whatever use you want to focus on. They will deliver your consumables promptly, but you must watch your service intervals yourself. Nobody in the company is going to call you and tell you your flashlamp is getting old and needs replacement before it does. There are also filters that need to be serviced. If you get one, (and you should) you have to put this on your calendar. Their techs have to travel many miles to come onsite in our area, so you are looking at significant charges for a visit. Ordering replacement parts like a foot pedal is way too slow and they do not provide loaner parts. This is something they should absolutely change. Easy things like foot pedals water bottles handpieces, should be available for loaners while the new part is being shipped, because the delivery from Europe is sloooow. We are currently biting our nails that our foot pedal holds out until the new one arrives. Or I suppose we could buy another $80K laser as a backup ;-0. Still it is an amazing laser - a true wonder in our practice.”
