If you're going to the VA Clínic, take the 59 UC Irvine bus and just to be sure, ask if the bus goes down Grant to Warner, where, it turns out, the VA clinic rests under a US flag. Don't be alarmed when veterans wander by to say they've never heard of a VA clinic in Santa Ana. Don't ask the guy at Greyhound for bus information. He doesn't have a clue, but unlike almost every other employee of Greyhound, this guy is human, not rabid or dangerous seeming. The guy at Amtrak is nice. The incessantly in-use yard blower makes an annoying noise. Thus, if you want to be harried and upset, this is where you should hang out for four hours waiting for the monthly train to Oceanside.”
