“Beach camping is much different with all the sand. After going here for week 2 years in a row I’d say I’m getting not only used to it but kind of hooked. You know that feeling when you’re about to leave to the hotel with all the beach stuff... that doesn’t happen with beach camping. The waves here at Doheny beach are descent to boogie board and surfing is just a walk north a half a mile. There are showers and plenty of bathrooms. Very fun with the family and extended family.”

“A smaller theater which has recently been upgraded from it's older decor. Lobby clean, concession stand easily accessible, prices decent, and friendly staff. The actual theater seats were comfortable and basically your typical movie theater. Buy a large popcorn and drink and receive free refill, even though portions are of good size. “We went there for the happy hour. Noticed that if you want to get the best seats or tables. Don't bother to show up late. When we arrived we scored good seats at the bar. The other reviews are spot on for great people watching. Great views of Laguna Beach/Hills and all the way down to Dana Point. The drinks and food were well prepared and served in a timely fashion. I was surprised also to see the bathroom was clean considering the fact so many people were there. Pro-tip...if you plan on getting drunk. Take the elevator... safety first.”

“The private villa clubhouse is a great place to hang out with the family and have a few drinks poolside. The pool is huge and kept at a constant temperature. The entire staff is very accommodating. Most of the folks we met and spoke to use the private clubhouse as they wait for their villa to be ready (which is 5pm by the way). They have a large amount of chairs to relax and umbrellas to keep the sun at bay. The one thing I will mention is that the umbrellas cannot be repositioned as the sun moves. Therefore, you will get a sunburn if you aren't prepared during the summer. The drinks are pretty pricey but it is a 5 star resort.”

“I came to this night club after dinner with my hubby & BFF. I didn't know what to expect as we pulled up to the parking lot. I was happy to see lots of cars besides our but the best part was that there were still plenty of parking left for us. This seems adventurous because we all can't speak Spanish & we're going to a new Hispanic Night Club in town! As I walked up to the entrance of this night club; their security stopped me to check my bag. He says that it was protocol but was very nice about it. As you know most security guards could come off very intimidating. After the past the bag check; a waitress promptly greeted us & took us to our seats near the stage where the live full band was playing. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed so we were only able to order drinks & enjoy the live music. I went to the restroom to wash my hands before our drinks cans out; to my surprised; it was very happy that it was fresh & clean! The music got me to stay a little longer even though I didn't have anything to much on. They were very good at what they did! I enjoyed every beat but was too shy to go up to dance on the dance floor all by myself. My husband's friend Jorge came yo our table to join us! He was very cool! Jorge broke the ice & brought us to the dance floor to take some selfies for memories! I thought it was cute that he asked me to text him the photos to share with his wife. I will definitely come back next time with our friends to taste their foods & dance the night away to the awesome music that their live band played.”
