“I ve ordered from Sango Sushi Los Alamitos for years. I was shocked that they closed. I recently been driving to the HB location, a little bit of a drive, but the food is worth it. Everything that I've tried on the menu is excellent. I like the Sushi A la carte, chicken katsu curry, and gyozas. Sushi is fresh, prepared well and delicious. “Pretty good pizza for the price. I’m not one for chain pizza like Domino’s or Pizza Hut. I like to supper the small businesses. I just wish this place did the same by supporting the local high school but oh well. Extra large pizzas are big enough to feed a hungry family of 4 and still have left over for lunch the next door. Our usual order is 1 meat lovers, 1 ham & pineapple. Delivery service is typically 45 minutes. Drivers are always friendly. Make sure to ask for peppers and Parmesan when you order or the driver will not have any.”

“Went around dinner time on Saturday night. It wasn’t too busy. They seated us right away. Very lovely atmosphere. Greeter and our server were very friendly. The food was amazing! We ordered the salmon delight roll and the balboa roll. I’m usually not a sushi person not that ambitious but decided to give it a try and they did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend eating here and would come back again if I’m in the area. Although one tiny gripe was my friend said the wasabi was alittle weak. “What's not to like about this place. Have not had a bad meal there. The most consistent Mexican/American food I've had. Their rice is soft and flavored, the pinto beans are done to perfection, lite without any heavy oil taste. Tacos and enchiladas are my favorites. Delicate chips and smooth spicy salsa. It is more expensive than other Mexican restaurants but I believe it's worth it. It does get crowded and parking does get tight. I love eating outside under the umbrellas.”

What attracted me to this restaurant was one reviewers comment about it being a "well kept secret". I agree! The atmosphere was mellow, clean and open. The service was quick and friendly also. Came back the next day, and the entire family loved this wonderful place, delicious food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. “This place is adorable. Highly recommend making a reservation for a spot. It is Located inside the Sherman library and gardens and admission is $5. But once you are inside you can wander and look at all the plants before your reservation. They have both outdoor seating and indoor seating out in the garden. We sat outside and really enjoyed the beautiful scenery. For drinks we started with garden punch (non Alcoholic) and the bird of paradise. Both were very refreshing after our walk around the garden. We of course had to get the biscuits and they were very flavorful and the whipped butter and their citrus infused honey paired really nicely. I had the salmon and it was perfectly cooked with a roasted assortment of summer veg and basil mashed potatoes. My husbands lamb shank fell of the bone and the sauce was very flavorful. For dessert we split the strawberry pavlova and it was really balanced. Parking is available on the street and there is also a parking lot right next to it. Can’t wait to go back. They also offer a tea set which I can’t wait to try!”
